It was good to get back in the water after so long.

It rained most of the journey on the way there and I had the headlights on, but the last cloud was clearing as I spied Borth. The afternoon was gloriously sunny.

A bit marginal for windsurfing so I almost went out on my monster board and 9m but waited a bit to see if I could get out on the mistral flow.

First attempt left me with a couple of wobbly uphauls :-( so back in for a coffee. That did the trick, as soon as I'd poured a cup the wind picked up to solid F4-F5 so I ran back out and had a good session maxed out on the 7.5m.

It soon dropped off again though and the kiters came out to play. By now I couldn't bring myself to haul the monster board out so I messed about for a while longer on the fow before packing up.

Nice to be able to sit in the sun watching the kiters having fun, good day out :-)
